SoCal Premier D2 Recap: Playmaker FC Shuts Out Mission Viejo FC

IRVINE (March 11, 2024) - Shutouts are starting to pile up for Playmaker FC.

With its third shutout in four league matches, Playmaker FC posted a 3-0 victory over Mission Viejo FC in a SoCal Premier League match on Sunday, March 17 at Portola Springs Community Park in Irvine.

The win pushes the league winning streak to four consecutive matches for Playmaker FC (14-0-2 overall), which moves eight points clear of Rose City FC (11-3-2) in the Division Two Los Angeles Region.

On Saturday, Rose City FC and Northeast Los Angeles FC played to a 1-1 draw at Arcadia City Hall, and on Sunday, Craq FC scored a season-high six goals in a 6-3 win over Los Hermanos FC at Portola Springs Community Park.
