SoCal Premier D2 Recap: Buena Park FC Getting Goals And Wins

IRVINE (March 11, 2024) - Buena Park FC continues to get goals when it needs them.

Beto Avila scored in the the first half, and Brandon Vargo and Onesimus Bonat had goal in the second half as Buena Park FC earned a 3-1 victory over Artesia DES FC in a SoCal Premier League match on Sunday, March 10 at Portola Springs Community Park in Irvine.

The win pushes the league unbeaten streak to eight matches for Buena Park FC (9-5-1 overall), which moves five points clear of Artesia DES FC (8-3-3) and 14 points atop third place.

On Saturday, Irvine FC and Mission Viejo FC played to a 1-1 draw at La Paz Intermediate School. Also on Sunday, Quan Khong netted three goals as Viet OC FC topped FC Cypress 4-2 at Portola Springs Community Park.
