SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Worldwide Problems FC Leads O.C. Race

IRVINE, CA (March 11, 2024) - It's a race to the finish in the O.C.!

Benjamin Berhe scored early for Steaua FC but Worldwide Problems FC equalized before halftime and scored twice in the second half for a 3-1 victory in a SoCal Premier League match on Sunday, March 10 at Portola Springs Community Park.

Angel Flores, Alejandro Galvan and Kentrell Dorsey had goals for Worldwide Problems FC (11-1-3 overall), which has just a three-point lead on Real Sociedad O.C. (10-1-4) in the Division I Orange County Region table.

Also on Sunday at Portola Springs, Ebrima Njie's second-half goal proved to be enough for Real Sociedad O.C. in a 3-2 win over Medallo City FC, and Armon Haghighat and Dameon Villegas had two goals apiece as AMSG FC II dominated in a 7-0 win over FC United Kingdom.
