Raul Briones Cup Recap: La Familia FC Wins On The Road

LA MIRADA, CA (March 11, 2024) – DeShawn Mendel got the scoring started early.

Mendel put one in the back of the net in the 12th minute, and Darold Rose and Daniel Romero added goals in the second half for La Familia FC in a 3-1 victory over Rose City FC in the first leg of a SoCal Premier League Raul Briones Cup Quarterfinal Round match at Arcadia City Hall on Saturday, March 9.

The Hacienda Heights, CA-based club won the Brent Freeman Cup last year and currently lead the SoCal Premier League's Division I Inland Empire Region.

The second-leg quarterfinal round matchups for the Raul Briones Cup will take place March 23-24.
