SoCal Premier D1 Recap: La Familia FCs Pina Bros. On Point Again

FONTANA, CA (March 4, 2024) - La Familia FC is putting a statement on the season.

Jose Pina and Raul Pina combined for three goals in an 8-3 victory over Union Amaya FC in a SoCal Premier League match on Saturday, March 2 at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex.

Luis Calderon, Andrew Diaz and DeShawn Mendel added goals for La Famila FC (13-0-2 overall), which has a four-point lead with a match in hand in the Division I Inland Empire Region table.

Also on Saturday, Allan Villalta scored three times as Inland Empire FC earned its second win of the season with a 7-2 result over Fontana Legacy FC at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex. On Sunday, Real Sociedad O.C. stayed on top of AMSG FC 2 with a 5-1 win at Biola University.
