Raul Briones Cup Recap: AMSG Elite Lights Up The Scoreboard

LA MIRADA, CA (March 4, 2024) – AMSG Elite scored one for the record books.

Lukas Ryan and Jonas Jensen tallied three goals each as AMSG Elite netted a tournament-record in a 10-2 victory over Southwest SC in the first leg of a SoCal Premier League Raul Briones Cup Quarterfinal Round match at Patricia H. Birdsall Sports Park on Saturday, March 2.

The Costa Mesa, CA-based club also got two goals from Sahleek Joubert, and a goal apiece from Amir Zahiroleslam and Nick Serrano to set the record for goals in a single Raul Briones Cup knockout round match.

It's also the first time teammates have scored three goals in a knockout round match.

The second-leg quarterfinal round matchups for the Raul Briones Cup will take place March 23-24.
