SoCal Premier D1 Recap: AMSG FC 2s Win Applies Pressure

FONTANA, CA (February 26, 2024) - It could be a big year for AMSG FC.

The USL2-bound club, still alive in the Raul Briones Cup, got an early goal from Armon Haghighat in a 2-0 victory over Fontana Legacy FC in a SoCal Premier League match on Sunday, Feb. 25 at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex.

It's the fourth consecutive league win for AMSG FC 2 (8-1-3 overall), which has at least one match in hand over every other club on the Division I Orange County Region table.

Also on Sunday, Ant Anstead scored the only goal as FC United Kingdom defeated Olympiacos CA 1-0 at Pleasant View Park in Huntington Beach, and Benjamin Berhe scored the match-winning as Steaua FC topped Medallo City FC 1-0 at Orange County Great Park in Irvine.
