Brent Freeman Cup Recap: Real Sociedad OCs Steven Gentle Romps

LA MIRADA, CA (February 26, 2024) – Real Sociedad O.C. may the goal scoring prowess to go all the way in the Brent Freeman Friendship Cup.

Steven Gentle scored three goals as Real Sociedad O.C. ran away from Atlas AFC South Bay for a 7-0 victory in the first leg of the SoCal Premier League Brent Freeman Cup Quarterfinal Round at Playa Vista Sports Park on Sunday, Feb. 25.

The South Orange County, CA-based club got the opening goal from Jahleel Cunningham, and two more goals from Fashinu Nesbeth to take a big lead into the second leg of the quarterfinals, scheduled for March 23-24 

In other quarterfinals, newcomers Gauchos International FC grabbed a 4-0 victory over Mission Viejo FC U23s, Desert FC Reserves got a 3-0 win over Los Hermandos FC and L.A. Monsters FC will take a 3-2 advanced over Worldwide Problems FC into the second leg.
