Irvine FC Joins the SWPL

IRVINE, CA (August 21, 2023) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces Irvine FC as its newest member.

Formed in 2020, Irvine FC joins SoCal Premier for the 2023/2024 season.

“Irvine FC was founded to offer local players a pathway for development while leading them towards earning professional contracts," Irvine FC coach Nataniel Michaelis said. "We're excited to continue expanding our platform for players through joining NISA Nation and SWPL."

Irvine FC will participate in qualifying for the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

The club previously played in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL).
