SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Real Sociedad OCs Ebrima Njie

LA MIRADA, CA (October 23, 2024) – Real Sociedad O.C. forward Ebrima Njie has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Njie scored three goals as Real Sociedad O.C. defeated AMSG Elite 4-1 in a SoCal Premier League 1st Division match at Portola Springs Community Park in Irvine, CA, on Sunday, Oct. 10.

A native of Moreno Valley, CA, Njie is a graduate of Valley View High School and played at San Bernardino Valley College (CCCAA). It's the second career SWPL Player of the Week award for Njie, who was honored during the 2023 season.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
