SoCal Premier D1 Recap: Buena Park FC Beats Playmaker FC

IRVINE, CA (September 23, 2024) - It's never too late to get a little revenge.

Defeated in this same matchup in last year's Division 2 Final, Buena Park FC beat Playmaker FC 3-2 on Sunday, Sept. 22 in a SoCal Premier League opening weekend match at Orange County Great Park.

One of the top teams in Division 2 last season, Buena Park FC (1-0-0 overall) was promoted for finishing on top of the the Division 2 Orange County Region.

Also on Sunday, La Familia FC beat Olympiacos CA 4-0 at Pleasant View Park in Huntington Beach, Real Sociedad OC won a 4-3 shootout with Medallo City FC at Portola Springs Community Park, and AMSG Elite and FC United Kingdom played to a 1-1 draw at Orange County Great Park.
