Ocelot Academy Joins the SWPL

COLTON, CA (June 29, 2023) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces Ocelot Academy as its newest member.

Formed in 2021 with the expressed goal of helping players earn professional contracts, Ocelot Academy will join SoCal Premier for the 2023/2024 season.

“Our main focus is to develop players and provide them with opportunities at the professional level,” Ocelot Academy Owner Luis Loreto said in a shared statement with NISA Nation. “Joining NISA Nation and Southwest Premier League will play a role in keeping our players in a constant compeittive environment. We are excited to get started.”

The club announced that it was entering three teams - Los Angeles, Colton and Stockton - in NISA Nation for the league's 2023 Fall Season.

A proved conduit to professionalism in Mexico for a growing number of California-based players, the club count budding Liga MX star Jorge Ruvalcaba (Pumas UNAM) among its former players.
