AMSG FC II Ends I.E. Republic FCs Perfect Season in a Shootout

LA MIRADA, CA (June 12, 2023) - A shootout to determine the winner? For Adu Aemiro, it was child's play.

Aemiro, 17, made three consecutive save in the shootout as AMSG FC II topped I.E. Republic FC, 0-0 (4-3), on Sunday, June 11, in the SoCal Premier League Spring Season Final at Al Barbour Field on the campus of Biola University.

Aemiro made nine saves over the first 90 minutes but really shined in the shootout, diving low to his right each time to stop three straight shot attempts and win the match for AMSG.

It's the first piece of hardware for AMSG, created three years ago by Ismaiel Alkayali.
