SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Olympiacos CA IIs Igor Moraes

LA MIRADA, CA (March 15, 2023) – Olympiacos CA II striker Igor Moraes has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Moraes scored twice in the first half but it wasn't enough as Olympiacos CA II lost 2-3 to Artesia DES FC in a SoCal Premier regular season match on Sunday, March 12. Moraes played 90 minutes for Olympiacos CA II (13-1-2 overall), which remains top of the table in the Second Division South.

This is the second Player of the Week award for Moraes, who currently leads SoCal Premier with with 25 goals and eight assists this season.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
