Brent Freeman Cup Recap: L.A. Monsters Doubles Up In First Leg

LA MIRADA, CA (February 27, 2023) - L.A. Monsters FC still has a chance to look scary this season.

The San Pedro, CA-based club defeated Rose City FC 4-2 on Saturday, Feb. 25 in the first leg of the Brent Freeman Friendship Cup quarterfinals.

FC Cypress, last year's BFF Cup winners, got a 3-0 win over SoCalRoof.com FC, while La Familia FC scored a 5-1 win over Artesia DES FC and Inland Empire FC Reserves topped Fontana Legacy FC 2-1 on Sunday.

Each team will hold its goal advantage into the second-leg matchups, scheduled for March 25-26.
