LA MIRADA (August 25, 2022) – The SoCal Premier League has renewed its partnerships with Laguna Niguel Football Association (LNFA) and the West Coast Adult Soccer League (WCASL) through 2025.

The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) and the SoCal Premier League will continue to integrate the two South Orange County-based leagues as part of its competition structure.

“Southern California is so full of players and club teams looking to diversify, and it’s long been a goal of the SoCal Premier League and the SWPL to partner with pre-existing leagues providing opportunities to players,” SWPL President Matt Morse said. “The LNFA and WCASL have long histories with the SoCal Premier League. Many of our players enjoy these leagues, and we want to keep that connection going for as long as possible.”

Founded in 1996, the LNFA features teams from Laguna Niguel and the surrounding communities.

Directed by Frederick de Tapia, the LNFA’s season began July 24 and will continue through a four-team playoff in mid-September. The league's Fall Season begins after Labor Day.

“We've cultivated a competitive environment where our players and teams can express their love of the beautiful game. We have three recreational divisions, and it's a blessing to grow our relationship with the SoCal Premier League and the SCASL into a bright future. Founded on our shared values, we are building for our players and teams,” de Tapia said.

The LNFA hosts 7v7 competition on Wednesday nights at Laguna Niguel Skate and Soccer Park (27745 Alicia Pkwy, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677), Co-ed 11v11 competition on Friday nights at various sites around South Orange County, and Men's 11v11 Sundays at LNSSP. Founded in 2009, the West Coast Adult Soccer League is a competitive recreational soccer league serving residents from South Orange County and around Southern California.

"It has always been our goal to provide a quality league with quality fields in a family-friendly environment, where the community is created beyond just the pitch," WCASL Founder and President Dave Rice said.

The WCASL hosts Over-30, Over-45 and Over-55 division on Sunday mornings, and a Co-ed division on Friday nights on top grass and turf fields throughout South Orange County. Visit WCASL.org for detail and field information.
