Medallo City FC Joins the SWPL

YORBA LINDA, Calif. (August 2, 2022) – The Southwest Premier League (SWPL) announces Medallo City FC as its newest member.

A promising community-based club with committed and determined players, Medallo City FC will join SoCal Premier for the 2022/2023 season.

“We’re not only going to display our potential but inspire players in our community who are looking for a second chance to show their skills,” Club Co-Founder Giovanny Marin said. “Medallo City FC is a club with the purpose of helping soccer players in our community to have more opportunities in sport and education.”

Created in 2022 by Marin and Edwin Sanchez, Medallo City FC will begin league play in September. 

Viviana Lozano and Carlos Marin currently serve as Team President and Team Vice President, respectively, as the club seeks non-profit status.
